I see it did'nt take Bascombe to be long in that rag sister newspaper of the s** to get into there ways notably lying through his teeth. Sunday he was saying Hicks And Gillette had falling out which Rick Parry came out today and said this was out and utter lies, week before that he was saying that Maschereno was heading to Man City wich the sherrif himself has said he would never play for another english club. Keep up the good work Chris, thats the way to get back into the good books of the people you have betrayed.
Thats my point he left the echo to write for that rag and has done nothing but slag off and lie about the club since.
Its a shame he was always the one person in the Echo that you'd take his inside stories as fact he was so well in at the club. People slag off Paul Tomkins for being an armchair red but the guy lives LFC. Bascombe left the Echo for personal reasons and people cant have a go at him wanting to actually progress in his career and for his family, his choice of papers was bad but at least there was the knowledge there would be one person there that wouldnt tow the anti LFC line and then he turns like this. You can overlook some writers for just being ignorant and stupid but Bascombe has no such excuse, for him to turn on LFC make him WORSE by far than any other of that rags reporters
