3 Points please and a few goals. Reina Kelly Carra Agger Insua Kuyt Gerrard Lucas Babel Benni Torres Thats the team I think he'll play, would be nice to see too
I'll be there so I am praying to god torres starts should turn these over handy enough but you never know this season
My confidance for Sunday has just rising now that Bobby has started the thread Hope our back 4 holds up, especially for set pieces as we seem to be all over place for these still 3 points is a must, lets hope City et al lose few points over the weekend too.
Will be a tough game, Blackburn are in good form at the mo, and big sam hates rafa so will have his team extra motivated
been over 3 times the last couple of seasons and each time i went nando was out injured.gonna try to get over before the end of the season ,hopefully he plays then. 3 pts on sunday would be nice, dont want to be too greedy but id like a comfortable 3 or 4 nil.this season nearly all our games have been a case of endured rather than enjoyed.
Think this will be the team on sunday.. Pepe Degen carra agger Insua Babel Masch Lucas Benny Gerrard Kuyt Cant see Torres been risked againt these Hatchet boys...They'll take lumps out of him..Defending properly is going to be essential in this game..as blackburn will be playing for corners and set pieces, so fat sams men can put us under pressure.. Ill be over myself so im going to say a 2-1 victory to the Reds... C'mon on Red men..Keep a eye out for the new flag me and my mate done.
Sam Allardyce reignites his feud with Rafael BenÃtez - Tony Barrett The mutual antipathy between Rafael BenÃtez and Sam Allardyce has been laid bare yet again with the Blackburn Rovers manager accusing his fellow manager and long-time adversary of turning Liverpool into a physical side in his desperation to secure Champions League football. In a withering and, as yet, unanswered attack, Allardyce also claimed that BenÃtez is so obsessed with the way the teams managed by the Rovers manager play football that he sent a video dossier to Keith Hackett, the former general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Board. The pair have long been at daggers drawn, with BenÃtez having been critical of the style of football used by Allardyce, a sentiment that dates back to the Spaniard’s third game in England in August 2004, when Sami Hyypia, the defender, had his nose broken in a challenge with Kevin Davies, the Bolton centre forward. Their relationship plumbed new depths last season when Allardyce accused BenÃtez of making “disrespectful” gestures during Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Blackburn at Anfield. With the latest outbreak of hostilities coming before tomorrow’s clash between their teams at Anfield, the indications are that the antagonism between the pair remains as strong as ever. Allardyce said: “It’s not of any importance to me what Rafa thinks about what I do and don’t do. I know how good a manager I am and how good a job I can do. I wouldn’t be here for ten years if I couldn’t do it. So I have no worries about what he thinks about me or my team. “We can beat them on any given date, that is the most important thing to me, and we know we can beat them because I did it at the Reebok. Because he didn’t like it he found an excuse about how we played. Wenger did it, Mourinho did it, they all do it when they get their backsides smacked. “That will get him moaning about me again, but I am not bothered. He even went as far as putting a DVD together and sending it to Keith Hackett. He doesn’t know I know that, but I do. He has a bee in his bonnet. “He is entitled to have his opinion as everyone else is and it’s nice to have someone complaining about you when you are beating them. It’s not about me or him though. It’s about my players going to Anfield and playing good football. “Liverpool’s physical side has come out in them in recent weeks. Based on how well they finished last year, I am very surprised they have gone through the turmoil they have in the past few months. “They have not been as pretty and fluid as they could be, but they have done the job and got the results they needed to get themselves back in the pack. They’ve had to go back to basics.“But if it’s a physical challenge they want on Sunday then I will be happy to go down that route.” http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/blackburn/article7043159.ece
Will need to perform a lot better than we did Thursday night. What we saw was a typical Liverpool performance this season. We had so much possession again we didn't look like we knew what to do with it in advanced positions. Our season will not get going until one of the three attacking midfielders get on their game. This team is screaming out for some flair/creativity. Again we watched a match were the lone striker was not trusted and ngog was poor. He offers little on the ball and is simply not strong enough. We cannot rely on Ngog to win the game so step up Babel, Riera, Benayoun, Gerrard, Maxi or Kuyt. They are a phsyical side but if we play football we'll beat them!
Was going to post this as well. What a sad horiible fat cnut. Still picking fights in the school yard. 3 points and a fuuucking hammering please with Dirk doing the 'game over' like he did at Hull away last year
I would love to see that team (maybe Fabio for Insua). Have a feeling Maxi will play though and Torres might not start. Hopefully its Kelly who gets the nod over Degen. 2-0 redmen
We better get the air-raid sirens out for sunday as i think that we will be bombarded with high balls and sheer physical power that fat sam brings when his teams visit anfield, think he will have study our defensive weakness in not being too confident under the high ball and also the zonal disaster that we employ,he will also see that both the kebab and skertl are out through injury and suspension two of the more physical defenders that we have but i am confident that we can combat blackburns style of play by forcing them onto the back foot and playing higher up the pitch, hopefully we will start at a high tempo get an early goal force blackburn to attack and then pick them off.I dont think that nando will be risked for this game as i think that it could be a war of attrition but expect to see him on the bench at least,we also might see young kelly coming into the picture with his height and advantage for us from set pieces,we can now see the squad getting stronger due to the injuries starting to clear up apart from skertl so for the first time in ages we are nearly back to full strenght and we could have a subs bench with the calibre of players like, nando, yossi, riera, aqualani, insua, degen, and we now have reason to be more confident than ever and just maybe the shackles will be taken off and we can start playing more attractive football against the so called weaker teams,as for fat sam for someone not worried about what rafa has to say he certainly had a lot to say about us, of course he is worried what rafa/people have to say about him and the teams he manages sure he was always a vain fat cnut RIENA KELLY CARRA AGGER AURELLIO MASCH LUCAS MAXI GERRARD BABEL KUYT
