Dont think Capello would be too bothered. England have 3 or 4 other left backs better than him.

Spices up Saturday even more now. What odds Bridge having a groin strain in Friday training?

Agree Saturday could be interesting as City players wore T-shirts with message of support for Bridge a few weeks back....

The tension on staurday should be good.
Don't think Capello will lose much sleep over it, as has enough cover, but disgraceful he's the one that has pulled out of squad.

Gutted for the lad, not many opportunities to play in a world cup!!

Do ya reckon Bobby?Would have thought they'd be desperately short if Cole isn't fully fit and Bridge is gone.Warnock is the first name that springs to my mind.Lescott can do a job on the left.Who else is there?...

What left backs do they have better than him? There's cole but he's crocked! Shorey is a joke, warnock would do a job other than that there's no one else I can think of,. I'd rather have one decent left back aswel as 5 decent centre backs than have no left back and terry! I hope they get knocked out of the world cup with France at the group stages!

Leighton Baines although lacking international experience isn't a bad player.

I think Baines,Konchesky,Barry, Lescott and Warnock are better left backs than him. I'm not saying they are world beaters but I rate myself as better than Bridge. He is a fraud of a left back
