Nelson Mandela was released after spending 27 years in prison.
Kept his honour and dignity through out all those years,and emerged a hero,and an icon of the 21st century.

Yes indeed, what a remarkable event that was. I can remember very clearly sitting down and watching it on tv that Sunbday afternoon.

Started reading his book great read so far. Unreal the way they were treated.

Was great to see him walk out of prison that day.
