The hype has prompted interest from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, Liverpool FC boss Rafa Benitez, and Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola, with all three managers confirmed as sending scouts to watch the playmaker. Turan, currently 23, is eager to secure a move away form Turkish football, admitting his dream is to play at Anfield for the club he supports. The news will come as a snub to Arsene Wenger and Pep Guardiola’s interest. Liverpool FC manager Rafa Benitez is yet to confirm whether Liverpool FC will be making an offer for the player. Turan told UEFA.com: “Of course I want to play abroad but it is our board's decision. As I always mention, Liverpool attracts me because of their tradition. In Europe, I am a Liverpool supporter, so if I go to play in Europe, I would like to play for them. “My dream has always been to play for one of the top European clubs, but you shouldn't make concrete plans in your life because sometimes these plans cannot be achieved. Absolutely amazing player, the type that we need atm. He is quite quick and very intelligent. Could cost upwards of E15m tho.
8th best starlet we should be goin after the top seven ha ha . great player would excite the fans . but babel was of similar status when he joined . not tryin to dampen spirits though
Difference is Babel had one good tournament at U21 level. Arda has done quite well consistently over the last couple of years imo.
Anybody have a link to this article that shows who these top starlets are? Turan is a class act IMO, i've seen him play a lot of times, at different levels and different tournaments,. but he's doing a great job for Galatasaray and for Turkey!
Can you not get a big-mac round here any more or what? I haven't seen much of this lad but is highly rated around Europe and captain at his age of a big club is impressive.

Im surprised nothing has resurfaced about Turan since Kenny took over as he is supposed to be a big fan. He'd only cost around 12 million id say and would be prefect for us. Gala have signed three players in the last week maybe their paving the way for him to leave. Thoughts?

Are you trying to give Rocco heart failure bumping a Turan thread! Haven’t seen enough of him to comment to be honest but I’ve only ever read positive things about him. As long as he’s quick and likes to take on his man on the outside I’d be happy.
Well if someone else had bumped it i would have had heart failure so it was the lesser of 2 evils for me!apologies to rocco of course!but anyway the chap has passion and quality i can see this being a transfer that just appears on lfc.tv
I'm pretty sure 99% of the members on this forum have'nt seen Turan play more than once, and 95% have never seen him at all bar a youtube clip.
Pretty sure 99% would have said the same bout Kuyt, Agger, Berger etc. I've seen him play quite few times, looks good but maybe bit slight for Prem??
