Looks like someones eying up Plessis. Haven't seen anything much from him since his first impressive outing last year (think it may have been against arsenal but i could be wrong).

Anyways he's probably not going to make it at liverpool so if a bid comes in he's probably packing his bags.

At the moment i cant see him breaking into the team as he is behind masch,Lucas and Spearing so maybe a loan move would suit us better..

I heard rumours the other night that there would be people there to watch play against City Res, looks like the rumours were right

i know you cant judge a player on one game but his debut against Arsenal I really thought he was going to be the real deal. has to be one of the most impressive debuts ive seen of any Liverpool player. especially from a youngster. pity he hasnt kicked on in his Liverpool career

I don't think it would do us any harm to send some of the reserves on loan to a championship club like derby who try to play football, have a big fan base and with that an expectant crowd.

I think this would be a good experience for some of our younger players and we'd then see if they have what it takes to cut it in league football

Plessis is one of the players who i think might benefit from this, maybe spearing and darby too.

It would be interesting to see how regular competitive games would improve thee players

I always get this feeling when our lads go away on loan that its the last we'll ever see of them. If Plessis goes on loan i certainly wouldn't be expecting him back. He'll be a big loss to the reserves but failing a freak bout of injuries to first team players (which with the year thats been in it isn't all that unlikely) he's not going to be getting games!

For what its worth - and you have to take these things with a large grain of salt - I heard that he had personal issues which were affecting his game...shame if true but he hasn't kicked on since his inpressive debut..

Has gone backwards imo and way to timid for a defensive midfielder ..... think we should loan him to a championship side and see how he does ?

For whatever reason, Rafa's not using him ....

I think, if Rafa's not using him by now then no point keeping him as he'll never be played regularly. It's not fair to the player and perhaps the club can get a few bob by selling him on, if we elect to let him move now.

My only concern here, is that if we sell him that the proceeds are given to Rafa to help buy elsewhere .... obviously, the same problem with any player sold, given those American cnuts !!!

Best wishes to the lad, if he moves on I hope it goes well for him and obviously, that he never comes back and makes us regret it !

As for the principal of putting a few of our younger players out on loan, to help them develop and get more competitive experience I think it's a very good one though we can't put them into other Premiership squads obviously, not sure if the Championship or La Liga is the better option thereafter though ?
