Very surprised to read this on the Media Watch section on the LFC official site. Rafa Benitez is reportedly preparing a loan move for Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha. Related Links The Liverpool boss is desperate to add defensive cover to his side, with right back Glen Johnson set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Onuoha signed a long-term contract at the City of Manchester Stadium in the summer, but has only made four appearances since after an injury ruled the 23-year-old out for a large part of the season so far. Reports suggest that the Reds are ready to offer Onuoha a short-term loan deal at Anfield. Liverpool are short on defensive options in all positions, and Onuoha's versatility makes him a perfect candidate for a switch to Merseyside. The former England Under 21 international isn't believed to be in the plans of new boss Roberto Mancini, and could put himself in the shop window for a move to Liverpool or elsewhere with a successful six-month stint.
Source wasnt mentioned when I took it from the official site - obviously wouldnt have posted if it had. Really shows where we are in the transfer market ....
cant see this happening for the simple fact that were in contention wit city for the fourth spot and couldn see them given us a player to help our defensive situation..
seen this last night, think it was on the dailymail website..could be wrong though. decent young player..suppose a loan deal couldnt hurt, but i cant see it going any further than that as once again it all comes down to money and thats something which we dont no what looks like...
I'd say this story was invented to have a little dig at us. Look at the poor paupers having to borrow from their neighbours
a lad on TLW, fairly good on transfers tec... said this is looking very VERY likely not a bad player at all, id prefer rRichards though, but ill take onouha
Me neither ninja man. I reckon City are the main threat. They've done a lot better than I thought they would
we really have gone way down the food chain when u see who we're now linked to.. crystal palace and sunderland strikers when the others in the top 4 are lookin for top european players
I hear what your saying there mate but i honestly think in Kenwyne jones was given a good run at the CL he would be top quality
The kid you are talking about from Palace is a amazing Kid..Victor Moses is his name and he is being tracked by all the big clubs around europe, from Barca to Arsenal and us..He's only 19 at the moment and is a raw talent.
