    What about Boro's Adam Johnson, i like him as a player, he played left wing and can also play on the right, might be worth a punt, plus another addition to the 6+5 Rule.

    good player, don't think we can afford him at the minute. would be in and around the 5 million mark i'd say.

    Agree with you totally mate..Said it a few weeks ago..he's on a free at the end of the season.He has been a constant performer for boro this season scoring goals and assisting in them too..

    He's also english and has played in the premier league before so he would have the experience..On a free get him as i dont believe his wages would be too high either..

    he came off injured today against city but what i seen of him
    he looked boro's best player.

    Definitely tap him up now with a view to joining us in the Summer on a free.

    Since Downing has left Boro he is now becoming the main man there.

    Boro fans on other forums rave about him and would certainly help out our left side.

    Nothing to lose taking him on a free though I'm sure other clubs will be in for him too.

    Your right there, I think it will have to go to a tribunal fee. Either way as he is out of contract in the Summer - he will almost definitely leave Boro.

    ye he is a good player but i think boro would be lookin closer to the 10 mil mark . thats the way it goes wit young british players

    I'm still raging that we didn't sign him from Boro.If the lad has any ambition
    he will seek a move in the Summer and I would love if we would go in for him.

    He signed a new 5 year contract last November but that rarely means all that much these days.Lets hope he will seek regular first team football elsewhere.
