ALVARO ARBELOA insists Liverpool will reach the Champions League knockout stages - by winning their two cup finals. The Spanish defender was part of the Reds side that thrashed Besiktas 8-0 on Tuesday to revive their hopes of qualifying for the last 16. But Arbeloa knows it will count for nothing if they don't win their crunch clashes with Marseille and Porto. He said: "We will make it if we win the last two games and I think that we will succeed. "The team is focused on the European Cup and to win those games like if they were finals. "We now have to play Porto at home and we'll have to show the same spirit as we did this week." Alvaro is delighted to see LIverpool back to winning ways thanks to their memorable triumph over Besiktas. He added: "The game was incredible. "I never played and won a European game with such a score. I think we could even have scored more goals. "Besiktas are not bad opponents - they won against us in Istanbul but at Anfield we didn't let them breathe and we scored an early goal. It was the key to the game. "It's a big boost for the team after spending weeks drawing without scoring a lot of goals. "The qualification for the next round is not out of our hands yet."
Stone Cold Steve REMEMBER the heady days of the late 1990s when Stone Cold Steve Austin and D-Generation X were running wild all over Raw? Remember the feeling of not knowing what would happen next, only knowing it would be downright entertaining? Well this week, the WWE took everyone on a trip down memory lane as Austin appeared and Shawn Michaels and Triple H reformed as DX. And guess what? It was downright entertaining. Triple H reminded fans that it was “For one night only†and that for the WWE to prosper in 2007 they cannot rely on acts that were popular a decade ago. But for a night of nostalgia, nobody does it better. First up were Shawn and Hunter.
