    Seen him play for Italy a few times and he looked useless, but he does have a good scoring record for Bayern.

    Does that mean he can score in the Premiership though lads ?

    I'd be happier bringing in a few of the youngsters, giving Ngog more of a run etc, at this stage. I've never been convinced that January is a good time to sign players, unless your buying them from a club in deep financial trouble.

    I dont rate him that highly, I'll eat my words if he comes and scores plenty. Plan B striker, which we do need in fairness

    you could say that about every striker brought in from abroad

    if a 6 month loan or contract could be negioated then we should snap him striaght, world cup year and all that too

    he could cause alot of problems with his height and free up an extra man from marking torres if both of them played together

    Can't see him being a Rafa player to be honest-lazy and a moaner.Misses a lot of relatively easy chances although he does have a decent record and would be our best aerial threat by a country mile.Very torn about this one but would be shocked if he did come in any case.Probably end up with Udinese or Genoa or someone.

    Dont rate him at all, cant see it happening anyway think he's on a massive wage which i dont think we could afford.

    From 04 to 07 He scored 71 goals in 94 starts for Fiorentina
    From 07 to 09 He scored 28 goals in 56 starts for Fiorentina

    What's not to rate about that.

    just my own opinion on him! they look like great stats all the same, still doesnt do it for me but as i said thats just my opinion. van nistelroy would be the better option if at all possible. his stats i would ike to see ;)

    Toni on a free transfer with something to prove ahead of a World Cup may not be a bad buy. Personally I am not a fan of him, I just dont rate him, set in my mind on that!ha.
