I can't believe we signed another next big thing!! If only all these players that we've been promised would be world beaters came good we'd win the league forever. Still always good to see good young blood coming in!!

I think its great to see us signing young (potential !) talent ...

Well worth it, to help grow our own stars for the future, not least because chances are we'll never have any dosh to buy any, with those fuks as owners !!!!

lets hope this lad is one for the future :)

with respect to our youth system,i think we've done exceptionally well over the last few years,i really do,have watched alot of the reserves and the underage teams whenever i can, think we've some serious talent waiting to come through, but under the current manager i think they've got no chance,i know it sounds like ive turned on rafa overnight but ive been surveying the threads over the last few months, not saying much because of my uncertainty/loyalty to rafa but paecheco was the icing on the cake wed night,i personally thought he was ready to be blooded in last season, ready to cement his place in this seasons squad, but hey rafa supposedly knows best and i guarantee el zhar gets a better chance than podge this season when everyone but rafa can see paecheco is a bigger talent.

Problem is, Rafa doesnt play the young players consistantly. Ngog only got a run cos Nando was injured.

He is playing Lucas and Insua consisently and getting canned for it. Lucas was poor last season but has come a lot this season. Insua has been very hit and miss this season, however think he will come good.

Jamie Carragher said in his book that he may never have made it as a footballer now. Himself and Danny Murphy played a lot of games when they were younger and had some nightmare games. Houllier stuck with them and they came good in the end.

Its a catch 22, put Pacheco in for 5 games and if he does not score he is rubbish even though he is 18. Some people hear slate El Zhar because he missed a chance against Boro away last season. At the start of last season his introduction lead to us winning against Boro and Wigan games at home.

As for this lad, had heard about him previously, lets hope he can make the breakthrough in time.
