Ngog was approached by Cameroon coach Paul Le Guen who worked with the young striker during his time at Paris Saint Germain and is eager to pair him up with Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o in the World Cup. The Liverpool striker said: "I have had contact with the Cameroonian federation. Now I need some time to think about things. I'm very flattered." Ngog has played for France from Under-16 level to Under-21 level but has a Cameroonian father but can make the change due to a recent change in FIFA rules. The decision could also impact Liverpool as Ngog would join up with Cameroon for the Africa Cup of Nations in January if he decides to switch allegiance. Ngog has made seven appearances for Liverpool in the Premier League and Champions League this season, scoring three goals.
Think he will stick with France .... but must be tempting with a world cup carrot been dangled at him .
