I have changed the name of this forum to Newspapers & Padcasts. So on that note what podcasts do you listen to...?I listen twice a week to the Guardian's Football Weekly,I have to say its top notch stuff.
The times game podcast is much better than football weekly and is far more liverpool friendly. I listen to a good few podcasts and some of the top ones are fighting talk from 5 live,Hamish and Andy,a comedy duo from australia which is hilarious. For anyone with an interest in us sports then espn have some great podcasts.
Lads ive never listened to a podcast before so i dont no much about them Some of the ones posted above sound intereting. How do i go about getting some of them?
Depends on how you are going to listen,on a computer or media player..? Here is a link to the Football Weekly page were you can listen online, check one or two of them out and let us know what you think. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/series/footballweekly
Yeah, every monday.Marcotti and the times writers and hosted by phil jupitus.Less jokey than the guardain one but thats due to the better writers involves, tony evans, marcotti, paddy barclay, olly kay etc. Podcasts are the business, you can get one for almost any type of radio show or tv programme.the bbc 6 music ones from adam and joe are quality also.
I'll post up a lot of different podcast names and what type they are for anyone interested. If its no use feel free to delete. All of these are available via thre itunes store by typing in the title and all are free Sport Football weekly The Game 5live football daily 606 5live world football Fighting Talk Rugby on newstalk Comedy/Radio Shows Hamish and Andy Jon Richardson Adam and Joe Chris Evans Chris Moyles Johnathon Ross Frank Skinner on Absolute Radio The Bugle Friday night comedy radio 4 The perfect 10 with phil jupitus Rhod gilbert bbc wales Culture Daily Mayo Mark Kermode film reviews Thinking allowed Music Weekly Guardian Daily Hope thats some kind of help for anyone starting out with podcasting
The Game It was better before they replaced Ballague with Jupitus though. Ballague's a clown but at least he's a football journalist rather than a, well I'm not exactly sure what Phil Jupitus is.
Just downloading this now from the Itunes store Hamish and Andy so will let people Know whats its like.
Football Weekly is excellent, love listening to James Richardson. The Game is great too, Ollie Kay really knows what he's on about and Marcotti talks sense most of the time, don't like that fat **** Jupitus though. Sometimes listen to 5 Live Football Daily too and get all the gift grubs as a podcast as well
Listened to Hamish and Andy last night on Raven's recommendation and it was quite funny.. Going to listen to a few more of these...
