Limewire help.

My brother has downloaded Limewire on my laptop,

Two folders have saved to me desktop, the green limewire emblem and another folder called limewire,

I do not want limewire on my laptop, so i uninstalled it, the two folders on my desk top are still there and there still is a limewire file when yoou press start, it won't allow me to delete them because ' I need permission' I'm lost.

Does anyone know whats happenin.

 

are u signed in as the administrator?

 

Is he set up as a second user on your laptop, different password? If he is, he may need to delete it through his ?? Im just guessing mind

Limewire might be starting automatically on startup and running as a service. If thats happening then it might not uninstall properly, and you might not be able to delete the folder and icon from your desktop because they're in use. Do a ctrl+alt+delete and check the processes to see if it might be running. If it is, kill the process and try uninstalling it again
