Now for a good news Thread, Agger played 90 minutes for the Danes and was outstanding as they beat Sweden to qualify for the World cup.

Very good news for once from the international scene for us.Glad to see him back as he's more of a footballing player who likes to bring the ball out from the back. Also its a big advantage having him in there for set pieces attacking and defending..

Hopefully he can push on from here and get the problems behind him for good.

the Dutch played him even though he had a dodgy ankle. He was taken off after aggravating it in their friendly. Not sure how bad it is yet though.

Really looking forward to seeing him back on the pitch again and at last, more options at the back for Rafa!

I've been called mental many many times for this, but I actually reckon that could be his best position. He's a good centre back but to me I think he's got everything to make a top class centre mid.

Do you reckon Rafa will play him? Who will he drop if he does?

Doubt Rafa will throw him straight in. That Sunderland game will be a feckin tough one. Bent on form and Jones always a threat it's too risky to throw in someone who's just back.

Didn't work for him as part of a back 3 - formation didn't really work at all.
