Anybody been keeping an eye on this tournament? Saw the game between Italy and Hungary last night and it was a cracker! Three red cards for Italy, one for Hungary and Hungary won it 3-2 with our lad Nemeth scoring 2 goals in extra time. Another of our lads Gulacsi saved a few pens in the shootout against Czech Rep in the last round and the lad Andras Simon looks loke a decent midfielder for his age. Great to see some of our lads doing so well and they now have a semi-final against Ghana to look forward to next week. Brazil play Germany this afternoon, while in the other quarter final UAE take on Costa Rica...
Seen the highlights of the Italy v Hungary game this morning and Nemeth took his goals well. A lot of the Italians were dragging players back hense the three red cards i suppose.
i'll defo have a look at brazil v germany. there's been some great games that i've seen,south africa v ghana and the czechs v hungary were very good.didn't see the game yesterday but nemeth wasn't too hot against the czechs and he missed a pen,glad to hear he did a lot better yesterday. ghana are the best team i've seen in it so far,they'll go close..
watched Brazil v uruaguay the other night... brazil tore them apart,and were 3-0 up within 25 mins;. dont think they will have it their own way against the germans though. should be a good match. Brazil 10/11 germany 7/2 draw 5/2.
the final of this is on at the mo,brazil v ghana.it's 0-0 at half time. the 3rd place game was on earlier,hungary bet costa rica 2-0 on pens. that lad Gulacsi saved another 3 pens,wouldn't be surprised at all if he's voted the top keeper in the tournament. nemeth missed another pen in today's shhotout,he missed one in the game against the czechs.luckily for him though the ref ruled that the keeper moved off his line and he scored the re-taken pen....
