    The Ice Cream Van reminds me of a story when livepool played Appollon Limassol and some lads jumped a lift to the ground in said Ice Cream Van , it had a mike on it and they went through the crowd shouting DONT PAY YER POLL TAX , VOTE LABOUR.

    Some of the storys of the European Cup Final night in Rome reminded me of similar stories of the Irish Fans that went to Italia 90, was too young to fully appreciate this at time but some great documentarys over the years showed the lengths some people went to

    Rome 77' seems like was same sort of sacrifices made, long before cheap air travel, how times have changed

    Agreed with you totally mate.I said it to my Da when i was watching it.The players back then seemed characters and thats when football was football..Id have loved the chance to see football back in the 60's,70's and 80's..There seemed to be so much more craic and they werent superstars then..
