unlocking security code

    lads, the young lad lost he's phone, i have an old nokia 6300 that i don't use but can't remember the secuirty code on it, is there anyway of unlocking it myself, know a fella that will do it for 40 quid but can get a new phone for that. any help appreciated cheers.

    You can get a master code to unlock apparently,. You need the IMEI number from the phone to obtain your master code,. So if you can post it, I can try find it for you,.


    This is the code needed to reset the Security code, nothing else, and it's for your phone only. You type in the security codes (any) until the phone request the Mastercode, when it does, leave your phone still, don't use it for 15 minutes, then type in the Master code.
    The default security code for Nokia is 12345.

    went to meteor shop today and asked them about it, she said they can't do it and told me to go to sandyford to a repair centre to get it done.

    IMEI number is found under the battery, or by pressing *#06#

    Did you try 00000 that is the standard security code on all or most phone unless you change it yourself.
