This is Cascarino's article in The Times today http://timesonline.typepad.com/thegame/2009/10/grim-times-ahead-for-liverpool.html
I read a similar article by cascarino last year on the way into town to meet the lads from irishkop to watch the liverpool match against chelsea at stamford bridge. Our redmen will do our talking on the pitch on sunday just like last year,
Cascarino wasn't fit or even eligible to wear the Irish shirt, and I wouldn't even give him the time of day posting my opinions of him as a pundit. But actually, this sums him up: While I'm at it, is Glen Johnson really a £17 million right back? Yes, he's good going forward. You get your £17 million-worth then So he's answered his own question there. You couldn't make it up.
I'd expect an article like this to come from some clown you meet while standing at a bar waiting for your pint to be pulled
lol, that is funniest article I have read in a long time. Does he not know there are two teams in every match We got outplayed by the Italians, end of. The gruesome foursome were able to beat both the mighty scummers and Chelsea last season.
All I can say he is talking out of his own hole. Chelsea through and through he is. Sorry Tony but your points are worthless like yourself as a pundit.
Cas must reckon rafa is the greatest manager of all time so if he can amass 86 points and finish ahead of both chelsea and arsenal in hte league with such bad players
Man Ure don't carry passengers Tony? Kleberson, Taibi, Djemba-Djemba, Veron, Nani, shall I go on you twat? Chelski, Beasant, Frank Sinclair, YOU! Get off your anti-Liverpool horse you fool before you fall off!
Poor article and he has clearly based his views on one single game. Seen as Chelsea, arsenal and United carry no passengers, he must think Kalou, Diaby, Song, Ben Foster and Carrick are world beaters!
Exactly! This is what he said on TV3 the other night. Except the other night he also included Kuyt (4 goals and 3 assists to his name already!) enough said
I reckon Cascarino is trying to be contraversional here, just to try and get himself a bit more work. Mention of Dunphy above is not entirely off the mark as I see it here either ....
I'd add Berbatov to that too. 32 million. They dont seem to get the same stick from the media though. Fair enough we had a bad game against Fiorentina, but to come out and publish an article like that is very unprofessional. He obviously doesn't watch us play week after week. I wonder what he said in his column after we beat United 4-1 last year. I seem to remember Fabio Aurelio burying Eddie Van Halen from a free kick. He did the same against Chelsea in the Champions league last year. I'd also give him 90% of the credit for our goal away from home to Madrid last season. Not fit to wear the Liverpool Jersey? Those were all big goals in big games, not to mention that Aurelio is a full back. Look at the comments from some people in respnse to the article http://timesonline.typepad.com/thegame/2009/10/grim-times-ahead-for-liverpool.html
ohh no cascarino does it again, im shocked that a paper like the times still holds onto this lad arsenal can win dirty...ohh my
