got this last night. Obviously better than last years. The custom tactics are brilliant and simple to use so you know where to look for a player from a free or a corner. Movement is better and the jostling for the ball is brilliant. 8/10 for me

I was always a pes fan 2 but after fifa 09 and playing fifa 10 i think ive been converted,Aquilani is class for the pool hope that will be the same case when he starts playing :)

Lads what formation do ye use with Liverpool. And do ye play Wing play, box overload, counter attack and offside trap. I find it very hard to score with them unless im trough one on one.

Also do ye use the zonal marking?

Im not sure what to think about this game yet,. I've only played it on PS3 which isn't my platform, im an XBOX360 man myself, so i'll get it on that during the week,. PES10 looks the business though, I cant wait for it,.
But my first thoughts on FIFA10 are, its ok, better in ways than 09 but worse in some, better shooting for a start, player AI is better, defending etc, easier to score spectacular goals, back to what I call "Fifa" football,. Its harder to run the pitch with one player, which I like, and the computer is harder to play against which I also like, because the last few were too easy. Is there anyone who has played both PS3 and XBOX360 versions? And if so did you find any difference, graphics, gameplay, smoothness etc?

PES 2009 was quite good, certainly did not deserve all the criticism it seemed to get. I see FIFA 2010 has gotten very good reviews here again though. Did you give it a wizz?

One hope I have is that Konami dont start copying EA. Though I loved the 2010 demo, the graphics and match intros just remind me a bit of FIFA.

I don't want to be getting all geeky now but some one told me a way to get Xbox demos from Japan by setting up a new account, and in the japenese xbox marketplace is Winning eleven Demo 2010 and it's supppsed to be what the final game will be like.. I've played it and loved it.

I might have a receipt for a PS3 somewhere, I could send you a copy of it, and you could send it off to be fixed as it would still be in warranty then,. Not sure if it'll work with Sony, but it works with Microsoft,..

Alonso will be on the final game aswell i reckon. They didnt have the full transfers done on 09 last year when it came out and skrtel had long hair.

Good man Howie, I think its a smashing game in general. Really good tussling for the ball, you actually have to find a pass in the game instead of just tapping x, and the first touch has gone up a level. It's like they shrunk Gerrard Reina and Torres and put them in my game, thats how real they look.

One of the few things Im not liking is that Nando doesnt have the same pace or power when you use the analog to knock the ball into space past the last defender.I always seem to get caught in this one!

Nah-very easy to adjust apart from the first game where I was giving away tonnes of free-kicks.The only major difference is that you dont press X when going in for a tackle,you just lean in.Otherwise theres loads of soft frees.

On the formation,he was Chelsea so I picked a big,strong,fast team-nothing like what Id pick in reality.

Agger at LB(more height and strength in the game for coping with Drogba,ballack,essien etc),3 in the middle-masch in the centre with stevie and Aquilani either side,3 up top-nando on the left cutting back onto his right,Dirk central and Babel on the right.As much as I like Yossi,Insua,Lucas,Fabio theyre not as effective as the strong,lightning quick players.That team worked well!

Dead right about nando unfortunately-doesnt seem to have the burst of speed to leave a defender for dead that he had other years:(

Not sure about the Cruyff turn as i dont bother with tricks myself.Always find a swift 1-2 as the easiest and quickest way through a defence!

Antonio Floro Flores off Udinese is fcuking immense.

Used to destroy me when I was doing a season with Fiorentina so I signed him for Atletic Bilbao and he got 34 league goals in his first season!
