First Half Performances to Come Back Kings.. I have written posts on both subjects before on other forums and still it niggles away each time i see a first half performance like last night . I always wonder is it a motivational thing before we leave the dressing room or just a the wrong mentality going onto the pitch. As i have written before last season based on first half performances we would have been around 17Th in the premier league and coming back from losing positions we are 10 points better than any other team in the premier league. Great as people say to have the mentality to come back and snatch all 3 points . But its going to comeback to bite us at some stage and this time we have really made qualifying for the knock out stages of the champions league much much harder which may have a knock on effect in the premier league. Its just something which i would like to see getting sorted as soon as possible and make our first half performance as good as our second half performances in all competitions . Even last season it may have played a major part in not winning the premier league ? Seems to me any team that comes out in the first half with a high Tempo games and gets at us will have us looking down the barrel of a defeat , usually teams cant keep it up and fall back in the second half and they get caught out by us , but as we seen last night its not always the case .
