    Lads I got a letter from Sounty County to say thanks for booking our society day out up there and I have been invited with 1 member from our society for this and the day includes

    Date; Friday, October 23rd 2009
    Time; Arrival at the club from 12 noon for tea,coffee and sandwiches
    Teetime; 1pm, Shotgun start
    Dinner; 6pm, wime included
    Prize giving; 8pm

    Anyone interested leave your name here

    Nice one Ian - I wont be able to stick my name down for this but i hope you and the other person who gets going have a great day, Nice gesture of them all the same !

    I suppose the fairest way to do it is to draw a name from all those who attend the outings and are interested in this !

    I don't think so Shay it's by invitation only all the societies that have played there during the year

    Lads missed a great day out. And we weren't that far off winning something. 42 pts we had. 4th & 3rd had 45pts 2nd had 46pts and winner had 48pts.

    If the shmark had holed a few more putts we may if won something. Great 3 course meal afterwards.

    Course was in excellent condition considering the rain we had over last couple of days and there was a greAt turnout!! We'll have to play there again next year.

    Thanks to Ian for the invite!!
