Raven, I would +1 what elvis says.

The iTunes source folder is located under My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music if you pick up an external hard drive and copy and paste the iTunes folder (careful not to CUT and paste) to the external hard drive, and use this system as your backup, you will be safe enough.

You can get a few different types of external hard drive. If you are looking for a secure top range hard drive, go with a LaCie hard drive -they are tanks. If you are looking for cheap and cheerful, then pick yourself up a 1terrabyte USB external hard-drive in Peats or Dixons for 80-90 euro.

PM me if you have any questions
