Breaking: Spurs give Martin Jol marching ordersTimes Online
Martin Jol has agreed severance terms with Tottenham Hotspur and is expected to take charge of his last match for the club against Getafe tonight.

Juande Ramos has agreed to become the new manager at White Hart Lane at the start of next season, although he is coming under heavy pressure to take the reigns sooner.

The match at home to Blackburn Rovers on Sunday is likely to come too early for the Seville manager, however, and Clive Allen is expected to take charge for that match.

Gus Poyet, the former Tottenham and Chelsea midfield player, has been approached to become the assistant manager.

I don't think the FAI could afford him,I would say he will take over from Van the man when he leaves the Holland job after the Euros.

I thought he was class, had a muck start to the season and left himself open for criticism but someone should snap him up....

Spurs spent a lot of money and are doing terrible. The signings were wierd (they didnt need bent, more a creative midfielder and a quality left winger). For sanctioning 18 million for Bent the board should sack itdelf. Since it will never do that then poor Jol was the fall guy.

Hell be snapped up quickly Id say. Is Ajax job covered. Who next for spurs??

He was made the scapegoat during the fiasco with your two most crucial players missing for a long time(Dawson & King) it doesn't help when others are not performing
