Amid speculation, surrounding a suadi prince buying a stake in Liverpool, of between 25% and 50%. Prince Faisal Khaled rings the saudi news channel,to declare that they are serious about setting up an academy there...and that talks to buy a stake in Liverpool are ongoing. I dont know what to make of it all, being honest.Anyone translate..all i can make out is, "inshalla" a few times..which means God willing.
"" I already sign deal with Liverpool ( about academies ) and tomorrow will be Ceremony after hull game and there is Serious Negotiations to buy 25% to 50% from Liverpool and that will be appear tomorrow" Seen translation on another forum .
Wont be getting carried away...as we will still have those two at our club. just wait and see what comes out of it all,i suppose.
Egyptianknowledge (2 hours ago) 1) he is one of COUNTLESS grandsons of the current king of saudi arabia. 2) he is not the most prominant of princes, however, u never know in a country like saudi arabia (the financial strength of most princes is kept secret in most cases).. he is definately nowhere near the wealth of DIC, ManCity new owners, or the kuwaiti prospects. Egyptianknowledge (2 hours ago) 1) They agreed on two liverpool academies to be built in Saudi Arabia. They will be in the biggest western and eastern cities in the nation. 2) They are in FINAL stages of concluding negotiations and reaching an agreement for the prince to buy a share of liverpool ranging between 25-50% of the club. Another poster ... My english is bad but i will try to explain this is old news , the poster said that the prince called and said he will buy a share from the club , then he put an old article to confirm that there is already a relationship between the prince and liverpool fc . I heard the ****ing prince by myself saying his company F6 will buy between 25 % - 50% share and on the same time he will sign an investment agreement which we already know
Im praying this is the light 25% is still a step in the right direction. I for one would be hoping if some Prince comes in and buys 25% that SOS would continue with the pressure and motives to get the yanks out, support any prince with money and the right ideas to buy our club! (I did say RIGHT ideas!) With the reading of the recent SOS events its clear that they are getting a little hot under the collar. My arse that the protests will ruin the club, the clubs already ruined. Its only time to being bought over.
there where a few of us at the match earlier and 1 of the stuwards was telling us that the arabs where in town to buy up to 50% he said there was loads of them and that his mate worked on the stock exchange and he said there was something happening. sounds promising if u ask me
i'm sure if they do buy in they'll be buying in to make money not for the love of the club or football. We'll be in the same place we are now only with 3 groups looking to bleed the club dry.
I love reading these kinds of stories as each one is an opportunity for Liverpool fans across the land to enlighten them self. The Saudi guy is the umpteenth person who has been given the show house treatment by the club over the last couple of years in a sad and pathetic bid to woo their millions. Is it right that the finest club on the planet has to sink so low just to get two greedy and desperate people out of a huge hole that they have dug themselves into? I have seen and heard people argue on their behalf and the recent sponsorship deals would seem to have done their cause no harm, however any wise red knows that this club has been badly run for years and should never have been so for behind the rest in commercial stakes. That it has taken so long is just an indictment on the previous regime. Manchester is Manchester United, Madrid is Real and the Royal Family and Liverpool is Liverpool FC, The Beatles and The Mersey. This club sells itself but unfortunately the right man just wasn't there to sell it......until recently. While the glitterati were in the stands today talking commerce the man who has kept the club from capitulating over the past two years was a mere yards away. Sat among him were those who have given their all during the last 18 months in an effort to rid the cancer found at the heart of the club. Every one of them has suffered but none more so than the leader. Humiliation, disrespect, rejection, isolation are just some of the feelings he has had to endure, yet the suffering has done nothing but strengthen the unity. Whilst every one of us will at some stage or another have been dumbfounded at team selections and through sheer ignorance we may even have questioned his position, there is an emerging realization among supporters that this man was born to be in charge of the club right here and right now. Some realized this only a moment ago where as others were lucky enough to receive the insight a long time ago. Bad things have happened to the club of late, but born out of them so too have a great number of positives. A prince filled with gold watching from the director’s box is not and never shall be one of them. Look a few yards closer to the pitch though and you will see them all. Rafael Benitez. I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.
