They were on the radio earlier, O'Leary tore him apart IMO. Should be a good watch, Ganely was bulling by the end of it.

thought miriam o'callaghan as referee was the best bit - more like the school principal in the schoolyard 'now michael, leave him alone - stop being a bully'...that was hilarious. neither man made a devasting blow for their side and it became a bit to personal at the end (esp the dana jibe) but decent tv nonetheless

Couldn't agree more, his own self interest involved in this as we seen last week when he wined and dine the vice president of the EU on one of airplanes.

After watching the No side last night - Higgins, McDonald and Ganley - I'm now even more convinced that YES is the right way to vote.

Wasn't much of a debate to be honest! O'leary showed again what a ignorant bully he is!

Clearly hasn't read any of the treatys and just waffled on about job and economy. How has this referendum suddenly in the last couple of weeks turned into a recession saver and a job maker???? Was any of this mentioned last time around?? Think not! We're being bullied into this anyone that thinks we are not, wake up and smell the coffee or should I say wake and and fly ryanair:rolleyes:

I thought Ganley debated his points better than O'Leary who just had "your a spent politician" and " I'm a major employer " lines over and over

Same here - the discussion was an Anti Ganley spiel against an Anti Lisbon one. I don't know if the YES campaign gained anything by this match up.

Though O'Leary was brilliant, never going to be a good night for the No campaign anyway when they're depending on Mary-Lou.

:eek: Had nothing constructive to say apart from trying the scare tactics about recession and Jobs, and just used his airtime to slag Ganley off! As usual came across as a complete twat!

One for the conspiracy theorists among you ........

On the Prime Time debate last night Mary-Lou McDonald said that the Wall Street Journal supports a No Vote by Ireland. Pat Cox retorted that Rubert Murdoch who owns that influential paper (as well as the rag that is the Sun, Sky, The Times, etc.) is a 'friend' of Declan Ganley. It common knowledge that Murdoch is pro the Tory Party in UK who themselves are anti Europe.

So now we have the left wing Shinners using ultra right wing 'propaganda' to support their claims !!! Makes you wonder ;-)

Can you not use the RTE player on their site? Plays previous programmes like channel 4 on demand?
