Right, let's keep the momentum going now.

They cost us 2 points at Anfield last year. Time to turn the screw on them this time around...

im not a fan of phil brown and i hope we trounce them make him sing at the end of the season when there relegated however i think it could be tricky enough but i think we will pull through 2 nill it definitly wont be easy eleven behind the ball but if we score early we will win comfortably

Looks like a walkover on paper as Hull have been shocking. I expect Hull to actually come out and play which could suit us. Stephen Hunt has been their best player this season, so I can see Magic Johnson been involved in a bit of argy bargy. (I remember the Reading match at Anfield two seasons ago, he was acting the maggot and the Kop started 'There's one pikey *******'. To be fair he just laughed it off.

Would like to see the following team as both Lucas and Masherano should not be required at home to Hull. Perhaps save Masher and Kuyt for the battle at the bridge the following weekend

Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Insua, Gerrard, Lucas, Babel, Benayoun, Riera, Torres.

Kuyt rarely get rested so Babel will start on the bench.

They are a poor team and given they lost 1-0 at home to Birmingham last week, I cant imagine their confidence is high. I think an early goal and we could hit them for a huge score.
    Reina
    Johnson Carra Skertel Auriello

    Kuyt Masch Lucas Babel
    Gerrard
    Torres

Seems a bit harsh on Insua to take him out but I think Auriello's ability fromt he dead ball such as corners and his crossing is something that can be used in this game. I would give babel a try ahead of Riera as he did well coming off the bench against Debrecen and West Ham and also did well against Leeds at times. I think he has looked a bit better ont he right side so maybe even altering with Kuyt during the game could be an idea. I fully expect a 3, 4 nil if not more in this one!

    Reina
    Magic Cara Skrtel Insua
    Lucas Gerrard
    Kuyt Benayoun Riera
    Torres

Wouldn'T mind seen Masch rested as i think we can afford a more attacking line up v Hull ..

I expect Rafa to stick with the usually 11, the main question will be, will Babbel start, as I think he may, as he had done ok in last 2 games. Am going to game myself, so hopefully should be a good day. Doing the usual scenic route via Birmingham!!.

**** yeah I actually forgot about Youssi somehow. I would also go with your teama nd ahve gerrard back in midfield but I think Rafa is keen to get the Gerrard and Torres partnership up to speed as they havent quite clicked fully with each other yet this season and Chelsea is just around the corner where it will defo be the two of them up top.

Think we should do the Tigers. If we get that early goal it could be a rout. They have alot of different players from last year and it takes a while for them to gel..They let so so called "best" player go and havnt replaced him.

The teams posted above i like the look off.All of them actually.Would love to see Gerrard start this one.

Also i would like to see Yossi on a few set places, unless gerrard has been practising all week as lately he seems to be not putting enough effort into them.

Id play yossi ahead of babel ,simply because if hull play deep as we might expect them to do there will be no room for babel to run into.

Yossi's guile and movement might be more of a threat i think

We need 3 points here. Then 15 points form 21 isnt such a terrible start

Id agree with that. Babel makes a good impact off the bench. So you could start Riera or Yossi, and then bring on either Yossi or Babel. 18 points from 24 sounds better again,.

While Babel has, to some extend, been redeeming himself lately I think Yossi'll start this one. Three points are a must.
