Looks like a walkover on paper as Hull have been shocking. I expect Hull to actually come out and play which could suit us. Stephen Hunt has been their best player this season, so I can see Magic Johnson been involved in a bit of argy bargy. (I remember the Reading match at Anfield two seasons ago, he was acting the maggot and the Kop started 'There's one pikey *******'. To be fair he just laughed it off.

Would like to see the following team as both Lucas and Masherano should not be required at home to Hull. Perhaps save Masher and Kuyt for the battle at the bridge the following weekend

Seems a bit harsh on Insua to take him out but I think Auriello's ability fromt he dead ball such as corners and his crossing is something that can be used in this game. I would give babel a try ahead of Riera as he did well coming off the bench against Debrecen and West Ham and also did well against Leeds at times. I think he has looked a bit better ont he right side so maybe even altering with Kuyt during the game could be an idea. I fully expect a 3, 4 nil if not more in this one!

Id agree with that. Babel makes a good impact off the bench. So you could start Riera or Yossi, and then bring on either Yossi or Babel. 18 points from 24 sounds better again,.

Hull only stayed up by default last season. the other teams ie Newcastle weren't good enough so Hull got off the hook. Brown could get the chop if we put them to the sword tomorrow. he even admitted himself. 3 points is King at the end of the day. we should see them off comfortably if form is anything to go by but after last season will take nothing for granted ;)

Slightly harsh on Voronin. His only real chance came from a pretty poor lay-off from Babel. I think Gerrard and/or Torres would have done very, very well to score [though, considering how Nando's played today, he probably would have skipped past four and slotted it in :D].

Little bit harsh on both players, It ended 6-1 Babel got 2 Voronin only had one half chance what more do people want from these lads, They dont get much game time so you can hardly expect them to come on for 10/15 mins and be at there best and finish the first chance they get.
