Theres a really good thread on this board about games you've been to and I have a look at it now and again as it reminds me of some of the matches down the years. Obviously, being from Liverpool, I've been to one or two games and you can't remember them all but my brother reminded me of one during an argument last night (I won) and I'd forgot all about it. Look at those line ups - how could I forget that? Unbelievable.
On the road to Istanbul, the Chelsea game... That was a total blur... The only thing i remembered when i woke up the following day was Igor was going to Turkey and Luis scored... Wasn't even that tanked up.. The game passed me by i was shitting it for 90 mins.. Me and me mate went down to O'Neills and watched the game in all it's glory when we woke up..
Wasn't at the game but couldn't Remember the final against AC Milan 2007 at all Was drinking all day and was told was in the bar during the match but woke up next morning couldn't remember if Liverpool even win or not lol, to be fair all had to do was check throught my texts and most of them went like this haha get in there Milan
Was also my first game! We lost 0-1 Brian Deane scored for Leeds. The game was on the Sunday because the Grand National was on in Aintree on the Saturday. We also got to go to the Grand National - it was won by Royal Athlete @40/1 who was ridden by Jason Titley from Shannon in Co. Clare. Great weekend!
A lad I know went to the Alaves Uefa cup final and went straight on the Elephant beer. He got in the ground blind drunk, fell asleep in his seat and when he woke up it was 4-4. It wasn't cakes though
One of the lads with us in Istanbul could well be forgiven for thinking we won 3 nil. He slept for the whole of the first half. Only one team showed up in his opinion!
