Right lads the birthday is comig up so im thining of treating myself to one of these.I was looking around the net yesterday and was shocked to see the price of a i phone.So i decided id have a look for a i pod touch and they are still fairly steap too.Ive never had a i pod before or i phone, ive always used a mp3 player. Now im just wondering could some of you's reccomend websites to get one of these off, either a i phone or i pod touch or places around ireland where i can get one at a REASONABLE price. thanx folks.

ipod touch is class alright, you'll be lucky to get the 32 gig one cheaper because there is such a demand for them.
These have dropped in price across the US so it will soon be happening globally $140 drop so if you know anybody across the water get them to purchase it for you if not hold out save a few bob...
i've had too many bad experiences buying phones,consoles etc online,i wouldn't recommend it. i bought one a few weeks ago in lpool for my son,it cost 253 euro for the 16g.the same one here is 279 euro.i know it's not megabucks but you'd save a few quid if you bought it up north or across the water. i wouldn't be too keen on getting anyone in the states to get me one either,if anything went wrong with it you'd have problems getting it back to them. they're a great little yoke,if you're not going to be putting too much stuff on it i'd go for the 8g...
I got the new Iphone 3GS and its the business. 200 quid for 16GB and 45 a month plan with 175 free mins and 100 free text and 1GB download limit. You can track everything online to check how far you are into your limits. The browser is good and there are some great apps you can download, not forgetting IPOD and IPOD Video as well. I was with vodafone bill plan previously and O2 are streets ahead.

Walked around Liffey Valley and The Square and then All around Town on saturday looking for the new apple i pod touch 64gb.... Finally got one in town in the last shop...Always the way... any one its my first time having a ipod....looking forward to using it now..Hope it doesnt disspoint now...
ipod touch wont disappoint.There will be a price drop as they are releasing some new ones with different features so the old ones will be cheaper
370 euro..This one is only out 2 weeks so hopfully they wont be brought down in price any time soon or ill be a unhappy bunny..
Where did you end up buying it if you don't mind me asking? Reason i'm asking is my mate works in Argos, and he bought an iPod Touch awhile back, and every time a new version comes out, he brings the old one back and exchanges it paying the extra,. There was one time where the original price of his old iPod exceeded the price of the new one, and he exchanged old for new and got the difference back in cash too, even though the new price on the old iPod was far less at the time,.
None of the argos's through out ireland has any mate.Checked online and even went into 3 different shops in dublin and one in wexford and they dont have it addvertised in their book in the shop but have it advertised online. I bought it in PC world in the jervis shopping centre in dublin.They are a apple reseller, and i got the last one so i was chuffed as it was my birthday pressie..
oh i do rev, have the 32gb ipod,its the old one, but come on like compare it to the ipod touch . Really want the iphone but Im not signing up to o2 for it.
