PSP go is smaller and more portable, with better connectivity.
PSP2 is like a sidekick phone with keypad, it flips out, looks cool,. it also is UMD free, as in theres no space for disks,.
    PSPi, doesn't exist.
You can however purchase an add on camera for the PSP and PSP slim. Retails about €40.

Have just been doing a bit more research on the PSP2,. people claim it might have a built in camera and touch screen capabilities and an internal 8GB memory and bluetooth. And the word in the nerd(my) world is that it'll be on sale for Christmas. But whether thats the USA or Japan im not sure,. Over here will probably be Spring maybe March or April,. Its to be a big surprise when it launches top secret stuff. But in the gaming world release dates change more than Cisse's hair. Games nowadays come out worldwide on the same date, to give the on-line community an equal playing field. Consoles on the other hand are market based, so it stages its release, ie does 1 region at a time. If I come across any info i'll let you know,.
Also regarding price i've heard $299 being touted as a RRP. But that could go way higher or lower depending on successfulness and bundles etc.
    Hope this helps for now.

i think the psp go is the only new psp coming out soon, there is no such thing as a PSP2.

the psp go has the same power as the current PSP and has the UMD drive removed but its a very slick looking handheld and has a 16GB flash drive for digital downloads.

heres a link for full details:http://www.us.playstation.com/psp/systems/pspgo.html

Probably not as its all about downloadable games and stuff. Its a cool little console but at 250 euros it is very steep in these times. On the other hand if you can afford it and show him how to use it (and make sure you download a game for him before he opens it christmas morning) then go for it.

My missus wants me to pick out something for myself for christmas as she doesn't have a clue what to get me. I have nearly everything you can think of so im thinking of asking her for a psp go as it is a cool little thing. I already have a psp 3000 with about 7 or 8 games but i really like the look of the go. I know all about download only for the go and would like any advice from ye guys.

my youngfella wants a pspgo for xmas, I've checked it out online and as far as i can see it's a fcuking rip off.. all the games have to be downloaded which means that playstation dictate all the prices of games to you. You can't buy a second hand psp game from a gamestore and you can't swap games with your friends, Also when your downloading if the connection breaks you have to start all over again .. bollllox.. playstation ripping people off.. a psp is €169 and a pspgo is €249.

fully agree, they took a disc drive out yet are charging more, its a bonkers idea and will quickly dig a grave for the psp. digital downloads also cost too much as they should be significantly cheaper with no disc, box or manual needing to be made, delivered to a shop and put on shelf, etc etc.

it is a sexy piece of gadget though. i think to charge such a price, they should have gone ahead with an entire new PSP(more power) and just kill off the old psp as piracy and custom firmware is killing the format, no profit to be made if you can just download a game for nothing.
