I don't know about the rest of you but I sometimes find it impossible to know from some match thread names what actual info relevant to the particular match is contained in the thread. I know they are in the correct place on the forum - I am just talking about the thread titles themselves in the Recent Threads list. Take the Burnley match at the weekend, it had the following main threads (excluding the taxi/train info from various airports): Burnley - contained Ticket info Liverpool v Burnley Saturday 9th 3pm ko - contained Match info Burnley H. Itinary - contained info on Pam's Boat & Coach Trip burnley 12th sept - contained info on Pam's Boat & Coach Trip / Tickets / Flights My suggestion would be to have match thread titles with a common name format for each match. So for example: Burnley (H) - Tickets Burnley (H) - Flights Burnley (H) - Match Burnley (H) - Pam's Boat & Coach Trip (where relevant) These are just my suggestions and should make it easier for people to quickly find the info they are after for a particular match. If anyone has anything to add etc feel free. Obviously, it would be up to the Mods to keep an eye on these thread names and to change them where necessary.
Kinda agree, like for the Debrecene threads, the two contain similar info. But then again i suppose when having a match thread, everything is going to be discussed, or have some reasoning to discuss all in each thread (depends on the replys). Like if im in say the Burnley Tickets thread, i aint going to tell someone to stop talking about the cheap flights that have just been put on offer. Each thread i'm sure will lead onto discussing everything. Just the way i see things happening and i myself can be blamed for that. But i completly agree with what your saying mate.
Sure, nobody would, but I think that if each thread name had a topic specific for the match then maybe people would mainly just talk about that topic. At the end of the day if it makes it easier for lads to find info then great. Will have to see what others and the Mods think.
The problem with that is people fly into different airports and all that being in one thread will be confusing. They are all broken up into "Tickets and Travel" or "Next match/Last match" If you clicked on the actual forum you would find what you need easier but most people just click new posts where everything is thrown into one. Basically the sollution you want is already there in a sense its just not the system you use. Hope this helps
Sure, I understand that its all there and can be found under the various forums. I am just suggesting making it even easier to find what you need by having a common name format that people would become familiar with and could find things by just looking at a thread title without having to search for where it is located etc. With regard to people flting to various airports you could have: Burnley (H) - Flights to Liverpool Burnley (H) - Flights to Manchester etc.
If ever there was a need for this suggestion I made a few months back its now! The ticket thread for Fulham this Saturday is Fulham Away The match thread for Fulham this Saturday is Fulham away just the case of the letter A/a seperating the 2 and not very helpful!
One is in the ticket forum and one is in the next match last match forum. However i changed the names for people who use the new post function rather than the forum function.
