    Liverpool v Debreceni WED 19:45 kO ITV1 RTE2 SKYSPORTS

    Another one i would definitely let Masch sit out may not get a easier home game this season { but not to be to over confident ;) }
A strong line up and hopefully put game to bed and rest some for our next game.
Torres looks out of sorts imo even though he has scored 3 goals already , not sure if we should rest the lad or see will couple full of goals get the spring back in his step ?

or anybody with their first kid .... i remember all the late nights bottles shifts , Nappie changes , etc etc great times but exhausting as well.

Plus just married , he will be expected to get his DIY belt out and get stuck in .

There is no way you can use those last couple of sentences as a excuse, there are other players out there in the same predicament to Nando's he just needs to get his head down "no pun intended" and get back into it.

3 points is a must. We shouldnt drop points to these lads but at the same time shouldnt underestimate them. I would start with a full strength team and take people off if we build up a lead.

    Reina
    Johnson Carra Skrtel Insua
    Gerrard Macherano
    Kuyt Benayoun Riera
    Torres

Yossi got a hat-trick confidence will be high would leave him in that attacking role and can see him gettin another.
Would love to see Torres grab a couple and hopefully put a bit of a scoring run together.

I think its fantastic that we can now easily move Gerrard between those positions depending on who we are playing. I think against the 11 men behind the ball teams, that team above is definately more of a goalscoring threat than last season.

Agreed. And more to come when Aquaman comes back.Agger tooo for that matter.Love the way he strolls out of defense with the ball and starts attacks.

Heading to the game myself, hoping for a few goals.

Would definitely rest Masch and keep Lucas in the side to build up his confidence even more.

Lucas was amazing on saturday. Was at the game and he was every where chasing every ball down and even getting forward. So on that display his place should be guarented in the team.So stick with the same team against Burnely as we played well..

Wondering will Rafa have Babel in the squad for this ...

Start instead of Torres or even bring on when 3 or so up for Torres... or just dropped ?

Perfect game to use the squad and keep key players fresh , rest some of our key players for away v west ham 3 days later

    or

Play full strength side and put game to bed early and take of 3 of our key players ?

It would be a disaster and if we played an under strength side and lost points so I'd go with the second option

would be my option as well mate , also kuyt Glen and Torres all came of early.

Kuyt is one player id like to see rested as much as possible when games put to bed .... as last season he looked tired at times and our Duracell bunny is at his best when fully charged.

But do Expect Rafa to look at the opposition and think of the possibilities for sure ....

Considering our key players just back from internationals x2 and westham away in 3 days.

I would definitely prefer a full strength team to start and then look to sub the big boys later on. I think Rafa has learnt from past mistakes (not in CL but Prem and Cup games) that starting strong with subs later on works alot better than starting weak and rushing the subs later on when it goes pear shaped.

I think we should start with our strongest eleven tomorrow night, maximum points at home is a must. Lyon and Fiorentina away won't be easy, and does anybody no much about Debrichin, they might not be the push over people are expecting, especially when there at home.

I don't think we should take this game as won already, who know's how these will start against us. They may be well up for it from the go.

But with our team, it should be no problem with our experience and that. We just need to show them respect and play to our potential.

A win will do nicely, start as we mean to go on. Let's just hope we're not disappointed if we don't rout Debreceni, although can see at least 3-4 goals, hopefully more! Strong team out, get ahead, players off & rest them for important Prem games coming up

Dont think we should be underestimating these boys as a simple cricket score victory. This is there glamour tue a chance to put themselves on the map. They will be up for this. Remember Basel in 02, tought we would beat them and ended up drawing twice
