I can't wait for this new album to come out on 28th of Sep. If the leaked songs are anything to go by he's still got it in abundance imo. Also check out on youtube from the forthcoming album, Marathon Man, Crowning of the Poor, For the Glory (Quality) and Just Like You (A.D.I.D.A.S). Also believe he is doing a UK tour this year, hopefully he gets over to Ireland.
4 gigs announced in Ireland with 2 free days so possibly 2 more. Im avoiding all the leaked tracks etc. Very rarely that i do that but Ian Brown is just special IMO(Not many lyrics i would get tattooed but i have one of his), i cant wait for it to be released.
Was straight on to get tickets when they went on sale last Friday. Going to the Olympia gig on Nov 23rd. Cant wait for it now, the man's a genius. Love his solo stuff, its as good, if not better than the Roses stuff, in my opinion
Dunno how that slipped through the radar, cheers for the heads up, ticket for the olimpia I reckon once pay day comes round. I love his solo stuff too, would still give up the lefty for a Roses reunion though can't see it happening in the near future.
Only the upper circle left for King Monkey in the Olympia, anyone ever been up there? A few people have said seats are rubbish for plays/comedians etc so wondering what its like for a gig?
on your whole forearm? have you got a pic?? @ NOTTOOXABI, upper tier isn't great for a gig imo, I think he'll add an extra night there if you wait although your prob takin a chance there...
If he doesn't announce another date... keep your eye on toutless.com someone will hav tix up there nearer to the time of the gig I'd say!
Are they the only tix left for this? Definately don't fancy being up there , might hang on for another date, standing tickets or look at UK dates.
It's next door to Subway in Nassau Street. Always a good spot for tickets that are sold out on Ticketmaster.
Second gig announced for Tuesday 24th November if anyone missed out first time around, same night as Debrecen away though!! Tickets on sale at the moment
I think Ian Brown is the business, love the stone roses aswell. I went to one of the first gigs he played all the roses stuff at, in the village on camden street, what a gig, even better was that i hadn't got a ticket and i managed to blag my way in through the back lane smoking area! can't wait to see in november!
