Announcement on UEFA website today that Lansdowne Road has been shortlisted with six other stadiums for the UEFA cup final in 2011.Inspection vists will take place October and November(dont think they will see much bar a pile of rubble). Maybe we can go for the UEFA cup that year and give the Champions league a break. Thought this was known a long time ago? Doubt they'd give us until 2011 at earliest considering this stadium was meant to be sorted for the euros next year
Wasn't Delaney saying before that UEFA had pretty much promised the FAI a UEFA final for 2010 or 2011? By the looks of things we are up against some quality stadia, would love to see a European final played in Dublin though.
