From the BBC, had to happen News is coming out of the Football Association that Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has been charged with improper conduct following comments made after their opening-weekend defeat to Tottenham.
load of bullshit if ya ask me Manager cant say anything without being charged now. Ruining the game God Bill Shankly would have been fined every week for his smart remarks!
He was right to throw a wobbly, we should've had at least one pen against Spurs, That muppet on the Champions League draw was going on about how much they use technology in football, what a clown! They got rid of the monitors at pitchside, so now the 4th official can't even check what's gone on. Video evidence should be brought in for certain decisions i.e. pens, goal line incidents, sendings off etc.. That's just my opinion, right or wrong!
How can fergie say what he said after pompey knocked them outta fa cup and get away with it and then rafa gets charged for that
The fact that rafa doesnt lick teh FA's arse is the reason for this. What happened to freedom of speech
The FA is supposed to protect referrees yada yada Not like any of them are running onto the pitch hurling abuse at them. Ya talk to the 4th official, ya get fined. Ruining the game
This is getting beyond a joke, you cant form an opinion of officals or the match if your a manager these days without being charged.
I'd not mind so much, if I thought all managers were threated equally .... but it seems there's one rule for Rafa and another for Fergie etc.
So whats the punishment?Fine or touchline ban or what? If memory serves correct we were fcuking class when he was stuck in the stands when he had the kidney stones problem.
After the game Benitez said: “I think everyone could see there was a penalty, especially to Voronin, it was so clear. “The third one, you could excuse. You can say that the hand was to the ball or the ball was to the hand, it could be, but the other one was so clear, it was unbelievable. “Can you get two penalties at an away ground? No. With this referee, I knew that this was impossible.â€
I think Rafa wont be too bothered one way or the other. If anything it will give him an insight in how these fools go about there business. Mr Ferguson is always in there and it doesnt seem to do him any harm. Let them have it Rafa.
He'd probably have to actually punch an official for them to do anything about him, he's been getting away with confronting, verbally abusing & intimidating match officials for as long as I can remember, without any proper action taken to curtail his bully boy tactics! The man's a living embodiment of bitterness & arrogance, & as long as he continues to evade punishment he'll feel he has immunity from sanctions & go on doing what he does.
