Time to get this Champions League show on the Road..... hopefully Xabi and Torres will be back for this one.what's the story with Dagger? 2 wins against this lot in the next 2 Games will make the Table look a lot healthier, anything less than that and i fear the worst.....
onwards and upwards from Woodison, another 3 points vital. I see besisktas were 2-0 down on sat and they ended up winning 3-2!! and had a man sent off near the end! we had enough drama ourselves the wkend
we will definitely win. i have no doubts. would love to see a good performance as well but lets not ask for too much, too soon. think the last minute winner over the toffees will do the redmens confidence the world of good
would take a boring scrappy 1-0 and come out of Istanbul with a clean bill of health for the weekend (fans, players and everyone LFC). Momo to fire in the winner and silence the critics
God help any fans going over there. i wish a safe journey over and back to everyone going espeically with recent history with english clubs fans getting attacked and such over there.
Now wouldn't that be nice to see Porto had a tough time over there, only getting the winner in injury time, and I expect a tough encounter for us as well. Think we'll sneak it 1-0.
personally i'm sick of scrappy and lack of quality football.do we as liverpool fans not want to see entertaining football.or are we just glory hunter's
lets hope for a good performance and 3 points to take back to anfield, that should help us as long as the other game goes in our favour too
El Nino out Liverpool must plan without Torres Tuesday, October 23, 2007 Liverpool's Champions League hopes were hit today when Fernando Torres did not travel to Turkey for their Champions League tie with Besiktas in Istanbul. But Xabi Alonso was on the flight and has a chance of starting the game in midfield. Torres has trained this week after the thigh problem that forced him out of Spain's squad last week, but the Turkey trip was considered too soon. Alonso, now recovered from a metatarsal problem, has also trained. Boss Rafael Benitez will be without full-back Alvaro Arbeloa, who missed the win at Everton with a thigh injury. Daniel Agger, Harry Kewell and Fabio Aurelio are all still out. Liverpool provisional squad: Reina, Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Riise, Benayoun, Gerrard, Mascherano, Sissoko, Alonso, Pennant, Crouch, Voronin, Kuyt, Babel, Lucas, Hobbs, Itandje. © 2007 ireland.com
well if as liverpool fans your happy just to win thats fine.if your happy to with uninspiring unentertaining football thats your choice.personally i was'nt brought up with that type of football.i find it very very frustrating watcing it.and it's not just this season it's been happening for quite some time now. are you entertainted by the football liverpool play.do you come away from many liverpool games thinking i really enjoyed that.i can't say there's too many for me. there's even been some games we won i could'nt even cheer when we scored the football was so bad.
Are you honestly saying when ( ) we win the league this season and we just hoof the ball forward in most every game you won't cheer the lads when lifting the trophy?
yes dead right i won't as i said already certain games we won i could'nt bring myself to cheer when we scored as the football was so bad.i feel like a hypocrit.sitting there knowing i'm not enjoying the games and then cheering when we score, just don't feel right to me. anyway i would'nt call us a hoofing team.
Winning is everything, doesn't matter how to me. Your prob a glass have empty person or you hate Fridays because its 2 days from Monday!!! (only messing ), but I still say you will be as happy as anyone if we win the league come May whatever way we play.
I have a black tie gig on tonight so I am going to miss this....if anybody wants to be my own private text updater fire away...
