Dont think it would be lunacy, a player with a point to prove but his wages would be huge

Surely he would drop his wage demands to play for Liverpool.

He's on well over 100k I would imagine so even if he halved his wages (which I highly doubt he would) I still dont think we could afford him.Great finisher but not strong enough or mobile enough to lead the line in Nando's absence. In any case, since he's not out of contract wouldnt Chelsea still have a say on where he goes?I could see them rather keeping him than let him go on a free to one of their biggest rivals.

you say he wouldn't be fit to lead the line but you think DNog and Vornin is fit to lead the line if Torres gets injuried?

    Would be a great deal.
We could pay his wages, sell voronin to hertha for 1m and get Sheva in.
He didn't get a fair chance in England imo and would definitely be a bigger threat that Voronin.

And of course he would drop his wage demands to play for a big club as otherwise he'd be off to some shitty club.

This is a chap who goes on confidence. He was one of the best players in the world till may 2005 when he missed that peno. Then he moved to Chelsea while his confidence was still low.No one ever cared for him there and as a player i think he was treated badly.4 years later and i still believe his confidence is still shattered from that night, and it hasnt helped by him going between Milan and London and also not knowing where he will be from the next day till the next.I think the managers he has had in this period of the time were not the kind to put their arm around him, like a harry Redknapp. So my opinion is i dont think Rafa is another one of these managers who can help him with his confidence, so i dont think he would be of great benefit to us.Also i think he would have had to have had a excellent pre season which im not sure he has had.

I think he would do well for a better type of manager like Harry Redknapp or Some one who tries to instill confidence in the player.

Sure werent Berlin dying to pay 3.5 for Voronin only a week ago. Surely that would cover his wages. Or would the Yanks rob that too? And thats not a joke

now there is an interesting signing, nando and shevchenko up front stevie g into centre midfield at the expense of lucas and if we could sell the porn star to berlin that deal could finance a one year deal for shevchenko, the pressure would be taken off nando as i think that he will be given a rough time from defenders this year and he seems to be getting frustrated at the moment.Yes a large one year deal for andri please,if we can sign that greek stocking of shite we could surely sign a proven goal scorer who so far has not done to well in england but with a point to prove, watched the reserves last nite and the greek lad wibadibadopolis looked far from impressive

I think that guy was fishing, i don't see how someone could want Voronin to Sheva.

someone made a good point that it would take defenders off Nando. I think it would be class bit of business.

Like Mancs deal for Owen, except we'd wouldn't be getting injury prone whore.
