    he could really shatter the record in one race. it seems he is taking bit by bit off it. i say fcuk it go for it and he will hit 9.30-9.40s

    I heard before that he holds off on completely smashing it cos every time he breaks the WR he gets a big pay out from sponsors - not sure if thats 100% true or not.

    Hats off to him, super human effort tonight.

    I ran 13 miles in 1 hr 40 today and had 10 pints of H after that. Plus I had a savege thai red curry. Who needs records eh:D

    Was breathtaking. He can defo run sub 9.50 as he doesnt fully push himself in last 15 metres. No one came close to him in Olympic final or World final

    Very true, 100k each time it's broke...but sure that's pocket change to him, he's more concerned at keeping his profile up as he's only 22 and doesn't want to end his record breaking career at such a young age...surely he can't have another 6years+ of this?
