Paddser, i'd say the way things are going, you'll have to be booking way in advance for these flights as i'm sure the flight prices that part of the year will hit the roof, them cnuts knowing they can fleece money out of people wanting to attend these games!

Lets hope she's not like Michelle Smith. Or Waterford Crystal. Unless she decides to have lunch with both of those I dont think her random drug test will turn up positive,. And it'll be a long awaited real Gold medal win for Ireland, it'll put us on the map.

At least we have a decent chance of a gold now at these games. best of luck to her.
Jebus lads talk about putting the girl under pressure
This is 3 years away and it's not as if she's never been beaten.
Also now that it's an olympic sport it will be far more competitive than it has been with all the traditional boxing powers throwing plenty of time effort and money at any young boxers with a hint of potential. Best of luck to her but i feel sorry for her with all the hype the irish media will now produce. Also don't be surprised if it's one of the men that bring home gold from London.

Worst price ever
Unless Powers pull a publicity stunt and pay out on all bets before it start :D
Like Stoke being relegated and Tiger winning PGA ;)

I hear what your saying mate but i can assure you she wont let it go to her head, Have known her for a good couple of years and she is the most down to earth person i have ever meet so much so that she doesnt even think that she is as good as she is, I personally feel it is a gold in the bag, and in the unlikey event she doesnt win gold she will do Bray and Ireland Proud..

we ARE the boxing power of Europe now.For anyone with even a fledging interest in the sport knows just how good we are,our results and performances at european championships show that.
Hoe the pressure doesnt get to her all the same

Can I say that the only reason some people are interested in this is because we can win a medal.
When is the Last time anybody actually stayed up as a proud IRISHMAN to watch this girl fight.
If she wins I`ll be as happy as when Sonyia O`Sllivan won her last medal............................

Yes we are the boxing power in europe at the moment with the brits but I meant the world, Cuba, USA etc

I have no doubt she's down to earth but who know's who'll come out of the woodwork (Ask Sonia about the Chinese :o). Fingers crossed she can stay injury free for the next 3 years. Hope she does it.
