http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N165382090811-1725.htmSpanish starlet Daniel Pacheco has today committed his future to Liverpool by signing a new contract with the club until 2012. The former Barcelona striker has yet to make his competitive debut but featured in Rafael Benitez's first team squad during pre-season. He is a regular member of the reserve team squad and is also a Spanish youth international. Meanwhile, striker Craig Lindfield has had his contract at Anfield terminated by mutual consent. The former FA Youth Cup winner spent last season on loan at Accrington Stanley. Great to get this chap on a longer contract
happy with this,i rate the lad, definately towards the top of the most promising prospects that could break through, once he gets the chance that is.
He's an upcoming star. I'd love to see him breakthrough this season. Nemeth too. Both gonna be huge hits I think. I reckon Pacheco is closer to making it into the first team than Nemeth. Its great to have these players to look forward to
As far as I am aware Barca had no choice. It is a contentious point young players in Spain cannot sign professional contracts below a certain age. Arsenal signed Fabregas in the same way.

Very good cameo by the young lad, the future is bright with this guy. Always looking to penetrate defence with his give & go's. Exciting player.
