right i will probably get slated for this but ive noticed from last season that nando goes to ground very easy rolls around like hes broken something and then gets up looks at the bench and then gets on with it anyone else notice this other side to nando?

he needs to stay on his feet and do what hes good at true he gets a lot of attention from opposing players but maybe he could learn something from yossi.

50 goals in 84 games not enough for you?

You should write him a strongly worded letter

Torres comes in for some rough treatment and will likely get even more this season. He should look for protection from Refs and linesmen. I would agree that sometimes he does go down a bit easily, however all the modern players do it. Slightest touch and down they go. Stevie does it as well. No complaints from me.

There are nowhere near the league of serial sommersaults diseases like Drogba, Ronaldo or even that Gamst Pedersen from Blackburn.

More than not I think he gets defenders giving him a few nudges and pull backs and I think he tries to stay on his feet. Sometimes I've seen him put his arms out if he doesn't get a free if he thinks its one but I certainly wouldn't say he's a diver.

Completely disagree mate. I've seen John Terry go through Nando a few times and he's just bounced back up and got on with it. Likewise with plenty of other centre halves.

Sometimes we think a player goes down too easy when actually they genuinely get a knock. On Sunday for instance Nani went down and just like both commentators I was giving out he went down too easy when in fact it tunred out he had a dislocation!

Nani wasn't he the lad that went down like he was shot 2 seasons ago
after headbutting some guy. What goes round comes round.

They all do it.... it's just part of the game now, you go down you get a free kick you get a goal from a free kick in a tight game, Stevie went down easy for the penalty in Istanbul but none of us were complaining , Its the modern game we love it when it goes for us and hate it when it goes against.

Its all part of his game isnt it? HE makes the defender think he is crocked.. defender then maybe slightly allows him a bit more space and then Torres makes him look like an ass.
But to be fair, he does get a good kicking and has a bad ankle

He does go down easy sometimes. I reckon he's instructed to do so by Pellegrino

I remember one game in particular against Chelsea, cant remember if it was at Kop end or other end, but Terry went through him, then ball went up other end and Torres walked straight over to Terry and gave him a cheeky little push and and tap on the side of the head.. Priceless

The Chap gets booted around the place for having so much skill, thats the only way defenders can defend against him.Terry battered him for one game and got away with it.He might go down lightly but its very rare if he rolls around the ground crying and throwing his hands up in the air acting like a petutant little brat.He needs more protection in my eyes as players with more skill are being butchered by some defenders.

:) I remember that. One thing I always noticed about Torres since he signed for us, for such a harmless and quiet chap, he takes no sh*t from anyone

i disagree the way he plays hes going to getta few knocks and bruises and defenders go through him any time they have the chance. i think torres gets a really tough time of it. i have to say though he gives as good as he gets.

Fernando Torres is not a diver. He got the shit kicked out of him against Reading but got on with it and scored a hat-trick.Thats why I love Nando.None of this Drogba/Ronaldo rolling around shite.

I don't think this is the inceident you were talking about but I just love Torres' just little tap on terry's face then just does that little sign with his hand as if to say "keep talking":D All on his debut as well!

Yeah he goes down easy but not disgracefully. all good strikers know how to win a freekick. Nothing wrong for me how he does it.

    Everyone does it....
Some more and easier than others.
Nando gets rough treatment wherever he plays, alot rougher...
