Only £5mill upfront Seems to be a great deal (payment wise) for us. Wonder what way this differs from Cocos dealings?????
- 300,000 EURO for every year Liverpool qualify for the Champions League from 2010/11 to 2014/15 1.2million - 1 million EURO the first time Liverpool either wins the Premier League or Champions League by 30 June 2014. 2 million
It was done properly Looks like a good dealy alright cant understand why clubs agree to a sell on clause..............
I wonder does this leave us with more to spend this summer or is the total taken out of the budget????
the vasy majority of transfers are done this way so it will be taken straight out of the budget... its all in €'s so you can knock of 15% to read it in £
Was thinking the very same thing.... But with a week left, I dont see us signing anyone, unless its a CB as back-up for our current injured.
I dont know, the window is open until the end of August and when the silly money teams ( Citeh and Madrid) are finished their business I think we could see a few deals go through. I mean £22mill for Lescott???? WTF????
Great find Gerry I thought there would be something with the wages like 30k or 40k until he gets 100% fit and then his full wage of 80k
If he only paid 5 million up front then surely he has a ton of cash in his pocket from the Alonso sale and that. And his initial budget
not really the 20m still has to be paid at some stage. If all that money is spent now how would we pay when the next installments are due? Hence we have a budget every season. Any big signing like this is done like this. Look at pompey they owed us 7m from the crouch transfer this season.
