    Just fished this off the Rattle.



    Got my Villa tickets on the phone this morning. Asked if I could pick them up on Saturday. The reply was:

    "No, we don't send tickets anymore. We send you a letter which you bring with your fan card and get the tickets at the ground".

    Now if this is the case I suppose it bypasses the Royal Mail issue, but what about the queues on matchdays?



    Dont know how true it is but hope they wont be looking for a form of id as well as the fancard. May be a few tranvestites knocking about L4 soon.

    If thats true there will be madness with people queing for their tickets. Its great taking in the atmosphere on match day & getting in a few beers. I feel sorry for the people going to the monday & wednesday night games who arrive into JL airport at 6pm & then have to rush to the ground to get their tickets.

    Fcuks sake, first you have to queue to get a tickets online, and if you dont get one there you have to queue to get one on the phone lines in the general sale and now they make you queue at the ticket office.Looks like ill be spending more of my life queuing.:mad:

    If tickets were bought in general sale is it the same. I have a ticket for this on my membership that was got in member sale. Today I logged into the general sale and was able to buy two more if I had of wanted. Would these tickets have been normal paper tickets if I had of bought them?

    So if I buy three tickets in the members sale, does each receipt have to be accompanied by the correct members card to get into the ground?

    If the members card doesnt have the specific game registered on it you wont get in

    I suppose it would depend on how you bought them in the general sale today.

    If you bought them with linked members' cards, that didnt already have tickets on them from the members sale, you would need these members' cards and receipts to get in.

    But if you bought them without linked members' cards, it would be normal paper tickets.

    might sound a stupid question but is the members receipt the email you get from the club when you but tickets online?

    Just a quick question about the receipt. Do they get sent out to whoever bought the tickets or to each person who’s fancard was used to buy multiple tickets ?

    They get sent out to who ever bought the tickets.Just seen a announcement on the website there myself saying the Villa and Stoke receipts will be sent out next week.

    each individual member will get the letter sent to their address regardless of who bought how many......
