Lads, anyone know where I could download a User Guide for the Eircom / Siemens 6010 Digital Cordless Phone? I have tried both the Siemens and Eircom sites and no luck. I have also searched through various sites on the net and no luck either. Any help would be great. Thanks.
try this man might work out i didnt fill out all the fields, ill keep looking https://www.2instructions.com/search.php?cmarque=SIEMENS&modele=EIRCOM SIEMENS 6010
Thanks for your help Podgecheco! Yes, I also found this link and filled in all the details. They then sent me an email and looked for an up front payment of $41.85! But, apparently my credit card would be charged ONLY if the research is successful!! So I obviously went no further with that one - I'd nearly get a new phone for that price.
http://fitness.manualsonline.com/ This is usually the place where I get them, but I checked for the 6010, and theres nothing available for it, i'll keep looking.
Id post something on boards if i were you youl reach a wider audience than you would here..id post for you but i cant remember my login details!
Thanks for your help Elvis! Yeah they have loads and loads of Siemens User Guides there but not the 6010 :-(
Ok Chris - great. I just need to get it setup really. We got given the phone as the previous owner never used it but had lost the User Guide! When I insert the batteries in the handset it just flashes the message "Register Phone" on the handset - so I was just wondering what did I need to do / buttons did I need to select, etc.
Doesn't give a whole lot of info on registering, hit MENU button, go to SETTINGS, press ok, scroll to HANDSET, hit ok, scroll to REGISTER HANDSET, press ok, enter SYSTEM PIN default 0000, press ok, registering flashes for approx 1 min. press paging key on base, hold for approx 3 seconds, that SHOULD do it, hopefully, that's the way they explain it!
Chris, thanks alot - fair play. I will try these instructions this evening - I'm sure that they will work. And thanks again to Elvis and Podgecheco for helping out. Will keep ye posted on how it goes - thanks again!
Fair Play Chris - those instructions worked a treat. Again thanks for all your help - much appreciated!
Lads, anyone know of any / recommend any software packages or other ways of removing a date stamp from a digital photo? I have read about Clone Stamp Tools and Healing Tools but have used neither. Any help would be great. Thanks.
Use the clone tool, or PhotoShop. Its easier to do and comes out better if the date is on a solid background. If you're not up to the task, I could give it a go for you,.
Thanks Elvis! No don't think that the background is solid - so will probably be more awkward. Is there any s/w with a Clone Stamp Tool that can be downloaded for free? Or is there anyway of just removing the date stamp from the jpeg without having to "doctor" the image with a Clone Stamp Tool or whatever? Or is the date stamp embedded in the image?
Most have the date embedded, there are a few which dont, and allow you to use it using a Hex editor. You can delete the lines of text which tell the photo what to show. http://akvis.com/en/retoucher-tutorial/peterhof.php That link might be of use to you. But PhotoShop or ACDSee are ideal especially ACDSee as it has a special function to perform the task, but these are quite expensive, but you can pm me if you want the more professional finish and I can give you a link. http://photo-date-stamper.software.informer.com/1.0/ -- And this one, its not free, but it gives you a free trial, and it should also do the trick. Sorry for the delayed reply, I was out and about.
Great, thanks Elvis! I will try the AKVIS Retoucher trial version. I also found a link that gives a free download of ACDSee 7. I will try this too but as always with these trial versions it will probably not have all the functionality - anyway its worth a go. Thanks again for your help
