Just switched on LFC:TV there to catch the end of this.

The top 10 spanish players to ever play for us

I only saw the top 3 which was:

    3. Torres
    2. Xabi
    1. Pepe

I was a little surprised that nando was only third. What do you guys think? Who would be your top 3 or 5?

    well my top ten would
    10 Nunez

    7 Morientes
    6 Arbeloa
    5 Riera
    4 Garcia
    3Xabi Alonso
    2Torres

The reason Pepe is number one is Because he is our number 1 and i suppose its a joint first and second but one thing for sure i bet rafa would rest stevie or tores before he would even consider resting pepe

    I would agree.
Isnt it amazing the way a goalkeeper can have a huge effect on the team. I always thought that a keeper should never be a captain, but in the absence of our other captains, i would have no problem giving this gut the armband. HE shows a mental strength that follows onto the rest of the team.

Why have Pacheco ahead of NUnez? Has he even played a game yet?

Nunez was muck alright but he did contribute against Olympiakos in 05.

    My Top 3
    1 Torres
    2 Alonso
    3 Reina

agree totally with you there mate, especially year after year he is shunned from the premier league teams of the season..Think Pepe is probally in the best 3 Keepers in the world.

cant be adding Pacecho, he hasnt played a competitive game for us,
it would be a better pole to have limited to 5 players, as after that we are simply filling in the blanks of future players and journeymen.

    so for me, top 5:

    Pepe Reina
    Xabi Alonso
    Fernando Torres
    Luis Garcia
    Alvaro Arbeloa
