21 years for these guys is nothing -will prob be out after 14 yrs with (lol) "good behaviour" - if Society deemed that the appropriate punishment was simply an unerasable mark on the face then these type of offences would drop to virtually zero & the only offenders would truly be sick.
Society could then dispense its own appropriate form of punishment - think of the savings on prison expenditure etc etc.

This sums up the the legal system in Ireland. Two women brutally raped here. One attackers gets 21 years in prison, the other attacker gets 2 years! What a joke.

State loses challenge to rapist's two-year sentence

The State has lost its undue leniency challenge against a two-year jail term handed down to a 47-year-old Waterford businessman who raped a prostitute.

Billy Keogh, a married father-of-six from Wilder, Kilmeaden in Waterford, was convicted and jailed for two years last year for raping the 26-year-old Croatian woman, who said he told her he was a garda and also threatened to throw her out of the hotel window.

The court heard he was a respectable businessman running a Waterford refuse company and had been a client of the escort agency for two years.

The State said the trial judge erred in law in taking into account a number of matters as mitigating factors

However, the three-judge court today said the five-year sentence, with three years suspended, was not unduly lenient.

Yesterday, Keogh lost his challenge against his rape conviction.

Also love how they are "separated for they're own safety" from the general pop prisoners while doing they're time.
