good read alright, there's all sorts of stories doin the rounds about loads of our players. We've been linked with a different player everyday too but the newspapers have to print these stories because its what sells their papers.
The only thing is if you were to believe the bookies then Ribery would have made his debut last night. He went from 66/1 to 8/13 in the space of a few hours. I don't think you can really trust anything you read during the summer. Even if it comes from the Manager! Ferguson said the other day he is finished his summer spending - we'll see! Rafa said a month or two ago, that it was quite likely we'd have to break our record transfer fee this summer, now that it's business time though he wouldn't even consider saying that as it would only drive up the prices! There is plenty going on in the background that the papers and bookies know nothing about but at the end of the day they both need to make money and generate publicity so will make stuff up the majority of the time!
