    I dont think that will matter a jot to lyinair but those travelling by ferry its handy.

    just means thta we can skip passport control when arriving into manchester/liverpool

    No amazingly enough, it's only when you enter your own country(Ireland) that you are forced to queue and show your passport. And due to the Garda go slow, they insist on taking it off you and looking at it. It's a disgrace. You're in and out of arrivals in no time in England.

    Not a big deal in Liverpool/Manchester but if using any of the big London airports this is a huge time saver as the passport control there is always mad mad busy.

    Ahhh so this just means we dont go though passport control in England????

    When i went on the ferry to england we were only asked for a form of id, could have been a passport, a drivers licencse, think i gave a student card..
