    Hi Lads,

    Did anyone else notice that Andrea Dossena doesnt have a squad number assigned for next season??

    yeah kopped it yesterday glen johnson has been given number2 id imagine he will end up back in italy. Aurelio and insua are now ahead of him in the pecking order, he never got to grips with english football even after losing a bit of weight but we will always remember him for his goal in greyskull

    I don't know if I'd read too much into the squad number thing just yet.

    Michael Owen was wearing Vidic's squad number for the first few days until he was given the number 7 jersey.

    Although I suppose the fact that Johnson played left back the other night must mean Rafa is considering letting him go.

    If he does go I think we'd probably get 6-7 million for him.

    Bizarrely at manure the players have 2 different squad numbers, 1 for training and 1 for matches!

    Glen Johnston only played left back because rafa wanted to play stephen darby thats all nothing to do with dossena leaving.And insua was the only left back in the squad for wednesdaysw game, dossena will play his part tonight and glen johnston will be at right back

    yeah beanokelly is right, Aurelio and Dossena weren't available the other night so he tried out Johnson at left back, and he wasn't bad either
