It's raining so hard in the west right now I'm hoping the clouds will have nothing left for the weekend.

 

Yes will be going to see him both nights no 2 shows are the same absolutely brilliant he and the band are.

 

i had money set aside for my BOSS ticket and got caught for car tax 2 days efore they went on sale, id love to go see him he's brilliant

 

Absolutely cannot wait for this, been dying to see him for years and ended up missing him last year so this weekend should be amazing. Wouldn't mind the rain staying away but its not going to put me off one bit either way!

Have 2 Pitch Standing tickets for the Sunday night. Anyone interested in doing a swap for the Saturday night?
(Have to get back down to Cork for Monday morning so won't be able to have too many beers on the Sunday with a 6 o'clock drive in the morning ahead)

The weather on Sat is going to be absolutely dredful acording to the forecast. Cant aford it anyway.

 

Savage gig. Weather was absolutly cack, pissed rain until 930 or so then stayed dry.

Brucie played for 3 solid hours, no support acts or nothing, great show

Brilliant show. Just back now! Amazing how fit this man is for his age. He gave it everything and was p!ssed wet with the rain also.

 

Ended up going to this yesterday as a spur of the moment thing. Have to say it was absolutely amazing. . He played for 3 hours and 15 mins without a break.Never been at a gig like it. Legend!

 

Last nights gig was legend, Ive been trying to get to see him for years but tickets are always like gold dust and I can see why.

Its not that he plays for 3 hours, its 3 hours non-stop, as one is ending he switches guitars and off he goes and where other mere mortals would be shattered after 3 hours he and the E Street Band looked like they could have just kept going all night without a care in the world, the only time I think he really stopped was to collect all the banners the fans had a the front which I think is another great touch, there is no barrier between him and his fans.

You can imagine Stringsteen just walking down Grafton St by himself stopping and chatting to people, compare him to Timberlake and the likes who would travel with 79 bodyguards.

 

Agree on all points there. Amazing performer, don't know where he gets the energy.
Can't believe he is 60! As I even said to my boyfriend last night, I still would!!
